It’s all in the mind

Observer of ordinary things

Such a powerful entity it is!!

Mind.

It can be our master, so can it be our slave. We can never find the silver lining between the two. Or can we?

Our mind is a tool.

It does have the capacity to make us realize our true potential. At the same time, it can make us feel so crushed that we drown in guilt and self-doubt.

The mind is an endless entity.

There is never really an end to it. Nor is there a beginning.

In the endless stream of thoughts, we might just get lost, lose our direction, or just stumble upon it.

There are people who claim to teach us how to control our minds!!

Great men claimed to be in total control of their minds.

But do we want that?

Do we really want to muzzle something that can make us reach places we haven’t even thought of?

I think not!

The rock that our mind is, never fails us when we need to introspect and when we need to ponder.

But when it crushes us with negativity, it’s tough to come out of it.
The only way out of it is to muster all the positivity and hope we can gather and push against it.

The mind sees what it wants to see and makes us see that.

There are two things that we can do.

Get lost in what is clearly virtual but comforting to believe or gird your loins and face reality.

We can try our best to figure the mind out. But what we can really do is work our way with it, give in sometimes and overpower it otherwise.

All I can say is, “It’s all in the mind.”
