There are no mistakes, only lessons

“Don’t make this mistake; you’ll lose marks,” “Don’t do this, don’t do that,” “Do not commit the same mistakes they have done.” And many more.

We have been listening to such sentences for a long time. We are being taught not to commit mistakes in our life. But you know what amazing thing I have realized?

We must not worry about committing mistakes.

Worrying about making mistakes stops us from discovering new opportunities.

Mistakes are nothing but the undesired results of our choices.

When we teach a child not to make mistakes or scold him for minor errors, it affects their creativity. The same child grows up as a human being who would averse to commit mistakes.

Years ago, I read one book, The monk who sold his Ferrari, and one quote from the same is still my favorite quote.

There are no mistakes in life, only lessons. There is no such thing as a negative experience, only opportunities to grow, learn, and advance along the road of self-mastery.

Robin Sharma

It is not wrong to commit mistakes, but learning and improving from past mistakes is vital. Every new chance is a unique opportunity to enhance yourself.

Once we understand this fact, we start growing. We start making an effort towards improvements.

The most important part of this journey is accepting mistakes. If we assume that we have committed a mistake, we open a door for improvements. You could be the best, but if you can’t accept mistakes, you can’t grow.

One who hesitates to accept his mistakes loses all the ways of positive change.

So, dear ones, first start accepting mistakes. Then start improving yourself in this journey of life. Finally, don’t be afraid of making mistakes.

Learn from mistakes and grow with opportunities you come across.
