Violence can never be Justified!

Observer of ordinary things

“Violence can never be Justified,” I said to my brother. We discussed how people behave in general situations and follow anger to justify their actions.

It reminded me of one experiment mentioned in one of the books.

The author experimented with two different places with children from a playgroup.

In the first set, he brought one robot to a playgroup school of children and told all children in a furious tone that no one should touch it. He observed them after that. Some children tried to play with that, he again angrily asked them not to touch. After six months, he observed, all children were playing with robots without any fear.

In the second set, he told children of another playschool very nicely not to touch the robot. He again asked them not to touch it with love and affection when someone touched it. After six months, he observed none of the children were even aware of the presence of robots. They forgot its existence.

That’s the power of love. If we can do something by staying calm and friendly, we should not raise our voices or hand it in.

Everything in the world can be achieved with non-violence and love.

I have seen many people raising hands and spreading violence, even if things are minor.

This is harmful to the person as well as society.

When we lose our patience and start abusing who created traffic, we give way to violence in traffic. I have observed that we don’t value non-violence and dealing correctly in many such incidents.

Since childhood, our parents, grandparents, and school teachers taught us to value non-violence.

“Non-violence is the greatest force at the disposal of mankind. It is mightier than the mightiest weapon of destruction devised by the ingenuity of man.”

Mahatma Gandhi

Whenever we want to achieve or do something, the first and immediate thing we should think about is being non-violent in attaining it.

It is not always power that provides results. If we can do something with the help of love and compassion, we must follow that way.

In the short run, violence seems to be the easiest way to achieve something, but non-violence is sustainable. We can do everything correctly and appropriately.

We as a society need more peace and happiness. Non-violence brings that to you.

I wish everyone would follow a peaceful way to get what they want in the world. That’s the society I perceive and would like each to thrive for.
